At My Philly Car Rentals, we are committed to providing a safe, transparent, and reliable rental experience. The following policies are designed to ensure a smooth process for all customers.
By renting a vehicle from My Philly Car Rentals, you agree to the policies outlined below.

Driver Requirements

To rent a vehicle, all drivers must meet the following requirements:

My Philly Car Rentals reserves the right to deny a rental if eligibility requirements are not met.

Authorized Drivers

Only drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle.
Allowing unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle may result in:

Payment & Security Deposit

All rentals require payment at the time of booking or vehicle pickup.
A refundable security deposit is required for each rental. Deposit amounts may vary depending on the vehicle type.
Security deposits are used to cover:
Deposits are typically returned within 3–7 business days after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

Rental Period

Rental periods are calculated based on the agreed pickup and return times listed in the rental agreement.
Vehicles must be returned on or before the scheduled return time unless an extension has been approved.

Late Returns

Late returns may result in additional charges.
If you need to extend your rental, please contact us before your scheduled return time. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability.

Vehicle Condition

All vehicles are inspected and cleaned before each rental.

Renters are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition in which it was received, excluding normal wear.

Fuel Policy

Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when they were picked up.

If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge will be applied.

Prohibited Uses

Rental vehicles may not be used for:

Accidents & Damage

In the event of an accident, damage, or theft, renters must:

Traffic Violations

The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, tolls, parking tickets, or other penalties incurred during the rental period.
Any fines received by My Philly Car Rentals will be forwarded to the renter along with applicable administrative fees.

Insurance

Renters are responsible for ensuring they have adequate insurance coverage during the rental period.
Personal auto insurance policies may extend coverage to rental vehicles, but renters should verify coverage with their insurance provider.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle.
A cleaning fee may be applied if evidence of smoking is found in the vehicle.

Cancellations

Reservations may be canceled within the timeframe outlined at booking.Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when they were picked up.
Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation.

Vehicle Availability

While we strive to honor all reservations, vehicle availability may be affected by maintenance, previous rentals, or unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, we will work to provide a suitable replacement when possible.

Right to Refuse Service

My Philly Car Rentals reserves the right to refuse service or cancel reservations at its discretion in order to maintain the safety and integrity of our rental operations.
